Oe pier berth repair construction (Phase 2)

In March, 2007, "Future Direction of Port of Nagoya" was formulated anticipating 20 years from now.
As a part of that they decided to build seismic strengthened berth in entire port to minimize the influence in goods' supply to hinterland or with local activities due to the disaster.
This project was to improve Oe pier, which didn't meet earthquake standards, as a seismic strengthened berth.
